The VOID Jar Kit for classic Vitamix bases, refurbished is the Jar Kit, refurbished: the VOID jar that seats on a classic Vitamix base, a VOID Vitamix adapter gasket, a tamper, a basic hard lid with its own gasket and removable vent, and the manual. There is no vacuum lid in this kit. A refurbished kit looks close to new but may have small scratches or blemishes, and although every part has been washed and sanitized, some water spotting may remain. It fits the same bases as the Retrofit Kit, the ones with a grooved black rubber pad, and not the Ascent or Venturist. Wash the jar by hand.
Returns and warranty
You have thirty days from purchase to return or exchange it on U.S. orders. On a change of mind return you cover the return shipping, and once we've agreed the return, it needs to ship within 7 business days, or a 10% fee applies. Keep your receipt showing the purchase date. We can't accept returns on orders shipped outside the United States, though the warranty still applies to those orders.
Warranty runs three years on vacuum lids, five years on blender bases, and one year on jars. The warranty page sets out what a repair costs and when.

Care and cleaning
VOID lids and jars aren't dishwasher safe. Rinse the lid under running water with a little dish soap, but do not submerge it, and keep the wireless charger away from water. The gasket comes off so you can clean underneath it.
Do not refrigerate or freeze the lid, and do not pour boiling water into it.
