The VOID Jar Kit for classic Vitamix bases is the Retrofit Kit without the vacuum lid: the VOID jar that seats on a classic Vitamix base, and its parts. It fits the same bases as the Retrofit Kit, the ones with a grooved black rubber pad, not the Ascent or Venturist. In the box: a 1.8 liter BPA-free Eastman Tritan jar with blade assembly, a VOID Vitamix adapter gasket, a tamper, a basic hard lid with its own gasket and removable vent, and a manual. Hand wash the jar. One-year warranty on the jar, and a free return on U.S. orders if it does not fit.
Returns and warranty
You have thirty days from purchase to return or exchange it on U.S. orders. On a change of mind return you cover the return shipping, and once we've agreed the return, it needs to ship within 7 business days, or a 10% fee applies. Keep your receipt showing the purchase date. We can't accept returns on orders shipped outside the United States, though the warranty still applies to those orders.
Warranty runs three years on vacuum lids, five years on blender bases, and one year on jars. The warranty page sets out what a repair costs and when.

Care and cleaning
VOID lids and jars aren't dishwasher safe. Rinse the lid under running water with a little dish soap, but do not submerge it, and keep the wireless charger away from water. The gasket comes off so you can clean underneath it.
Do not refrigerate or freeze the lid, and do not pour boiling water into it.
