The VOID Base Gasket is the replacement gasket that sits between the jar and the motor base on a VOID base or a classic Vitamix base. It is the same part that ships in the Retrofit Kit and the Complete System. Replace it if yours has torn, gone hard, or no longer seats the jar cleanly. On some Vitamix bases the gasket needs a light trim before the jar seats. Trimming it does not affect your VOID warranty, and if you damage it while trimming, email CS@voidvac.com and we will send a replacement.
Returns and warranty
You have thirty days from purchase to return or exchange it on U.S. orders. On a change of mind return you cover the return shipping, and once we've agreed the return, it needs to ship within 7 business days, or a 10% fee applies. Keep your receipt showing the purchase date. We can't accept returns on orders shipped outside the United States, though the warranty still applies to those orders.
Warranty runs three years on vacuum lids, five years on blender bases, and one year on jars. The warranty page sets out what a repair costs and when.

Care and cleaning
VOID lids and jars aren't dishwasher safe. Rinse the lid under running water with a little dish soap, but do not submerge it, and keep the wireless charger away from water. The gasket comes off so you can clean underneath it.
Do not refrigerate or freeze the lid, and do not pour boiling water into it.
